Teaser of the Week - NFL Week 16
12/19/2024
by The Boys
Leg 1: Texans @ Chiefs - Texans +10.5
Leg 2: Lions @ Bears - Lions +0.5
Leg 3: Eagles @ Commanders - Eagles +3.5
Leg 4: Patriots @ Bills - Bills -7
Leg 5: Saints @ Packers - Packers -7
Texans @ Chiefs
Here we have another fabulous matchup for our “Leg of the Week”. With the exception of last week, the Chiefs have played close games all season long and take on a challenging Texans team this week. We expect this sucker to be close, and don’t be surprised if the Texans pull off the upset this week, especially if Wentz is under center for the Chiefs.
Lions @ Bears
There is absolutely zero doubt in our minds that the Lions win this game. They’re more talented, they have better coaching, and Caleb Williams can’t seem to find his footing, even with great offensive weapons. Dan Campbell for president!
Eagles @ Commanders
After last week’s debacle in New Orleans, the Commanders are officially on our shit list. It’s gonna take quite a bit for them to be back in our good graces after barely beating the Haener/Rattler combo last week. The Eagles on the other hand, have been bitch slapping fools left and right. Let’s go with the Eagles here.
Patriots @ Bills
This one is easy: the Pats are super duper ass, and the Bills are not. There’s no way the Pats can keep up with Josh Allen and this offensive unit.
Saints @ Packers
The Packers are slowly creeping into Super Bowl contender territory week by week, while the Saints are starting SPENCER RATTLER. Easy money here. PS - Alvin Kamara is unlikely to play this week. Packers by a million.
Optional Legs
Steelers @ Ravens - Steelers +13.5
This one is tricky. Yes, it is a divisional matchup that will likely be close, but both teams are relatively unpredictable. We had the Steelers as an optional leg against the Eagles last week, and they failed to meet expectations.
Giants @ Falcons - Giants +15.5
This would normally be a perfect teaser leg, especially with the projected total set at 42. However, the Giants are horrendous on both sides of the ball and if Penix steps in and plays well in his first start, this could be a very one-sided game.
Vikings @ Seahawks - Vikings +4
Another decent leg here. Taking the Vikings as dogs against a team that might be without Geno Smith seems nicey, BUT, the Seahawks appear to be a very well-coached unit playing in a very conducive home environment.
